Festival organizer Extrema asked us: how do you involve the crowd in the opening show of a dance festival? Our answer: make the crowd part of the show.

Be part of the show

Every smartphone can play sound, flash its light, vibrate and show colors. We choreographed all of it, driven by the music and the video on the big screens.

Be in sync

On install, the app synced its countdown to a server, the same countdown that ran on the big screens. Everyone saw the show start at the same moment, no internet connection needed.
